I decided to visit the restaurant I was the executive chef for many years ago. The steak is still the same good quality and properly matured as when they started. We had a good time there and I still think that Bull Run is the best steakhouse in johannesburg. Well done.

I've eaten steaks in some of the finest steakhouses in the UK and the filet mignon I had here would easily compare are top them! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the restaurant was comfortable and clean. I would seriously recommend this place, it does help if your hotel was next door like mine :)

The Bull run is an excellent restaurant only 5 mins walk from Nelson Mandela square. Well worth a visit for excellent food and a large wine selection. Staff informative and friendly.

The Bull Run has been around for a very long time. The service is always good, the quality of the food is always superb and you can be assured that if you are taking clients or overseas visitors, they will be pleased. We work often in the Balalaika Hotel so the Bull Run is easily accessible - they never let you down.

We only had the one night at the hotel next door. After looking at a few reviews in the area it became clear that this was the place to be. We had two entrees along with two fillet steaks and a good bottle of red wine. The service was exceptional and the food didn't disappoint either.The best steak ive had in a long time.

The food in this great restaurant is fantastic. Service is a bit slow but it gives you a chance to relax. The restaurant is very nice and well located.

This is a hotel restaurant, however, serve brilliant food with great service. Best kingklip I had in a very long time. Their menu has a large selection and the food is fresh and extremely tasty. Steaks and chicken are also very good. Highly recommendable restaurant in the Balalaika Hotel, Sandton.

We at here three times during our recent stay. The food is excellent with a wide variety of food. Petros served us on two of our visits and his service and friendliness was wonderful. During our next visit we had a different waiter but Petros made a special visit to our table to chat to us and find out how our visit had been.

Once again excellent food, Steak, wine and service. Thank you Godfree you did them proud. Rib eye was fantastic and washed down with a lovely bottle of Fat Bas**** Pinotage. This place remains my number one selection for a great evening and the staff are both friendly and professional - well done and once again well deserved.
